Anamorphic
A horizontal flare — different radii per axis, colour from the coating.
Controls
- threshold
- What counts as light. It moves the edge of the flare, not its strength
- length
- How far the streak runs sideways, and only sideways
- thickness
- How thick the streak is across. A cylindrical lens gathers light into a band, not a mathematical line
- intensity
- A number from 0 to 2, 0.9 by default.
- tint
- The colour of the streak belongs to the lens, not the light: the blue comes from the coating on the front element
- quality
- How many blur passes are stacked. One cuts the streak off hard at the end, three lets it fade
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
