Stucki diffusion: sharper than Jarvis, wider than Floyd.
Controls
- levels
- Two levels is bare ink and paper. More puts a tonal ladder between them and the grain thins out
- diffusion
- How much of each dot’s error is handed to its neighbours. At zero nothing is handed on and the picture posterizes into flat bands
- serpentine
- Every other row is walked backwards. Off, the error always drifts one way and smooth tones grow diagonal worms
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
- color
- Dithers each colour channel on its own instead of brightness alone. Ink and paper stop applying
- ink
- A colour, #ffffff by default.
- paper
- A colour, #000000 by default.
