Flow lines
Lines that run along the image, following its gradient field.
Controls
- along
- Edges send lines around the shapes like an engraving; slope sends them across the shapes, like ink hatching towards the light
- lines
- How many lines are set going. A count, not a length: it stays the same at any output size
- length
- The longest a line may run. It stops early wherever the picture goes flat and there is nothing left to follow
- threshold
- How strong an edge has to be before a line will follow it. The main density knob of the drawing
- width
- A number from 0.2 to 6, 0.8 by default.
- opacity
- Opacity of a single line. Lines are laid one by one, so ink piles up where many of them meet
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
- ink
- A colour, #101418 by default.
- paper
- A colour, #f4f1e8 by default.
