Film grain — the emulsion, not a noise overlay.
Controls

- How much grain there is

- How coarse the grain is, in source pixels, so it stays the same size relative to the picture at any output resolution

- How much grain lands in the darkest places

- How much grain lands in the brightest places. Film carries less here, which is why the default is half of the shadows
