Split tone
Different tints in shadows and highlights, neutral in the middle.
Controls
- shadow
- A colour, #2a4a72 by default.
- highlight
- A colour, #d8b47a by default.
- amount
- Strength of the toning. Lightness is never touched, at any setting — only hue
- pivot
- Where shadows end and highlights begin. At the middle both colours come in equally; move it to decide which one rules
- softness
- Width of the crossover. Narrow, and a visible line appears across smooth gradients that was never in the picture
- keep color
- How much of the frame’s own colour survives. At zero it is a pure two-ink toning; higher, green grass stays green but turns warm or cold
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
