Type spiral
A line of type winding out from the centre, each letter turning with the path.
Controls
- pitch
- Distance between turns, which also sets the type size — the turns are not allowed to overlap or the line stops reading as a line
- size
- Type size against the space between turns. At one the letters touch the neighbouring turns; smaller leaves air between them
- charset
- One of: blocks, ascii, dots, digits, runes.
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
- growth
- How much the letters grow towards the edge. At zero the line keeps one size all the way out; higher, the winding reads as a funnel
- weight
- Stroke width. Constant here and carrying no tone: tone is already spoken for by the choice of character
- ink
- A colour, #101418 by default.
- paper
- A colour, #f4f1e8 by default.
