Every gap between three touching circles holds a fourth — computed, never searched for.
Controls
- depth
- How far the packing subdivides. Circles triple with every step, so this is the expensive knob — and the one that decides the look
- smallest
- The smallest circle allowed. An honester limit than depth: the packing is infinite, paper is not
- fill
- Outline shows the construction — the tangencies, the nesting, the holes. Solid fills by depth and reads as a mosaic
- width
- A number from 0.2 to 4, 0.9 by default.
- scale
- A number from 0.3 to 1, 0.94 by default.
- ink
- A colour, #151a22 by default.
- paper
- A colour, #f7f4ed by default.
