Color
Chroma key
Keys out a hue and suppresses the spill it leaves behind.
Controls
- key
- A colour, #00b140 by default.
- tolerance
- How far around the key hue still counts as background. A real screen lies in patches from dark to blown out
- min color
- How colourful a pixel must be to count as key at all. Grey is never key, or shadows and grey hair would go with the screen
- softness
- Width of the fade along the cut edge. At zero the outline goes stair-stepped — the mark of bad keying
- despill
- Drains the screen colour from the fringe it lights up. Kept separate because on glass and water that fringe is a reflection worth keeping
- fill
- One of: transparent, color.
- background
- A colour, #101014 by default.
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
