Controls
- scale
- Each scale is a real instrument: iron is a thermal camera, viridis a modern scientific ramp, exposure marks only the dangerous ends
- steps
- Zero is a continuous ramp; above it the picture bands into isotherms, which is what lets you read a value instead of a mood
- low
- The bottom of the measured window. Everything below it flattens to the first colour of the scale
- high
- The top of the measured window. Narrow the window and small tonal differences fill the whole scale
- keep
- How much of the picture shows through the scale, so you can see what is being measured
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
