Misregistration
Registration drifting apart across the process plates.
Controls
- shift
- How far the last plate has wandered from the first
- feed
- The direction the sheet runs. Paper slips along its own path, so every plate drifts along one line — that axis gives the fault away
- twist
- How much the sheet turned between runs. Half a degree is already nine pixels of drift at the edge of a large frame
- jitter
- How unevenly the sheet runs. At zero each plate is exactly one step further than the last, and the fault looks calculated
- black
- How much of the grey under a colour goes onto the black plate instead of all three
- paper
- A colour, #f4f1ea by default.
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
