Moire from overlaid screens — the pattern the screens make together.
Controls
- pattern
- What the overlaid screens are made of: dots or lines. Lines give the sharper interference
- screens
- How many screens are stacked. Two make the classic beat, three a denser rosette of it
- cell
- Pitch of the screens. The whole pattern lives in the difference between them, so small changes here move a lot
- angle
- Angle of the first screen. The others are set from it by the separation below
- separation
- How many degrees apart the screens stand. Near zero they line up and the beat grows huge; wide apart it becomes a fine rosette
- drift
- How much finer each next screen is than the last. A second way to beat them against each other, by pitch rather than by angle
- ink
- A colour, #1a1a1a by default.
- paper
- A colour, #f4f2ec by default.
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
