Glitch
Corrupt
Corrupted buffer bytes: broken memory, not noise over pixels.
Controls
- amount
- Share of the data that came through spoiled. A byte either arrived whole or it did not — there is no halfway
- mode
- What happens to a byte: a bit flips, it goes to zero, it is replaced by a stranger, or the whole stream loses its byte boundary
- bit
- Which bit flips. Seven is the top one — a jump of half the scale; zero is the bottom and barely shows. A place, not a strength
- run
- How many bytes in a row go at once. One is a single memory fault; more is a lost chunk, and it reads as a streak, not speckle
- eat alpha
- Lets the corruption eat transparency too, which punches holes in the frame. Off, because holes read as a broken app
- contrast
- A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
