Frame blend
A long exposure built from short ones: moving things smear, still ones stay sharp.
Controls
- tail
- How many past frames are still in the picture. Fractional is fine — the oldest one enters only partly, so the trail grows smoothly
- decay
- At one every frame in the tail counts equally, which is an honest long exposure. Lower, and the past fades the further back it is
- mode
- Average is a long exposure: movement smears, still things stay sharp. Lighten keeps only the brightest, so lights leave trails on the dark
