Controls

motion
How far things moved between the two fields, which is the whole point: they were shot a fiftieth of a second apart
direction
Which way that movement went. Sideways gives the classic comb; up and down gives almost nothing, and that is physics
first field
Which field came first. Standards disagree, and getting it wrong gives the tell-tale back-and-forth judder
flicker
Makes one field darker than the other, the way phosphor half fades between them
thickness
How many rows a field covers. One is true interlace; more is the same comb, coarser, as after bad scaling
contrast
A number from -1 to 1, 0 by default.
