Scanlines
CRT line scan — the raster you saw through the glass.
Controls
- period
- How many source rows make one scan line. The whole texture of the effect is this number
- thickness
- How much of each period the dark line covers
- darkness
- How dark the line goes. Full black is a hard mask; lower leaves the picture visible through the raster
- curvature
- Bends the lines the way a tube face does, so they bow away from the middle of the screen
- phase
- Slides the whole raster across the frame, which decides which details fall in a gap
- vertical
- Turns the raster on its side — an aperture grille rather than a scan
